We will take our time and focus on our breath, while opening up our hearts and mind to possibilities of life, inviting love and peace to our souls.

You will have the opportunity to experience a one-on-one Reiki/Energy Healing Session to increase your clarity, relax and connect with your energy on a deeper level.


Reiki is a gentle energy healing technique that helps to align the chakras/energy centres and reduce stress and anxiety, promotes relaxation, strengthens the immune response, connection with the body and spiritual self and more.

We will have a Chakra and Energy Healing workshop where you will learn:


  • What are chakras/energy and how they affect us
  • How to heal your chakras to attract love, money, confidence, inner peace and more
  • How to recognize if your chakras are blocked/imbalanced (symptoms)


Quiet the Mind and the Soul will Speak

This workshop is perfect for beginners and will blend spirituality and practicality.


Following the workshop, relax and experience a guided meditation to help you connect with your own chakras, releasing the old and welcoming fresh energy.

Maxine is the founder of Live Well With Maxine.


She is a Certified Health & Nutrition Coach and Yoga/Pilates Instructor.


Her passion for helping women over 40 to take better care of their health and well-being started in 2012 when she was struggling to create a balance with her health and digestive system. She started to make small changes to her food and lifestyle so that it would become a regular part of her life. With her coaching, she helps women to do the same by first making their health a priority. She does this by helping them to practice mindfulness, maintain consistency and be accountable.


In addition, she conducts corporate wellness workshops on nutrition and health-related topics, providing advice and assistance to help individuals understand the long-term side effects on the body from living an un-healthy lifestyle.


For the past six years, Maxine has hosted wellness retreats and events in around the GTA, including Muskoka, Niagara and Waterloo, Ontario.


She teaches yoga both online and in person as well as breath work and stretching sessions to individuals, groups and corporate clients.


She's a mother to a teenage daughter and is also an author of her published book "12 Week Gratitude Journal" and her ebook "Lose Weight without Starving Yourself". When she's not helping clients feel their best, she spends her time doing photography, creating content and of course.....on her yoga mat.

Marisa is a Certified Reiki Practitioner registered with the Canadian Reiki Association.


She is a highly intuitive Reiki Practitioner through the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage, certified through STAY + VIBE in LA. Graduating from the University of Guelph. She has attained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree majoring in Psychology with double minors in Neuroscience and Family & Child Studies -- all of which she is very passionate about!

After experiencing mental health struggles of her own and having to find new ways to manage her symptoms, she turned to alternative forms of medicine/healing including naturopathy, Reiki, meditation, and acupressure, to name a few. Western medicine has been helpful to her at points of her journey, but taking a more natural route to healing has allowed her to connect with her body deeper and discover who she is on a spiritual level!

Marisa believes that everyone's path looks different and what may be helpful to one individual may not work for another, but her curiosity to try new healing modalities has served her in a way that she hopes can inspire others. "Being a part of someone's self discovery journey lights a fire in me and I believe our session(s) together will bring you clarity, empowerment, and greater healing as you allow yourself to let go and receive the beautiful energy of Reiki!"

I have just finished my first distant reiki session with @empoweredlotus and I am blown away. Marisa made it so easy for me to be able to fully emerse myself in what my mind & body have been trying to connect me with. Her oracle card reading was right on point for this time in my life and I could resignate with almost all of her points she touched upon for myself. I am walking away from this session with a new insight for my future and the clarity I have been searching for! Thank you Marisa






It's hard to keep this short. My session in December was AMAZING. Here's the kicker, I've seen other reiki practitioners with a decade or two years of practice, but they were not as great as Marisa. I knew that I had blocks in a few of my chakras but I wasn't sure what they were and how to fix them. When Marisa told me about my blocks after our session everything made sense. She was kind




My session with Marisa was such a treat! Right off the bat I felt comfortable with her energy, and was able to share what I was moving through. She was easy to talk to and once we began the session, I could tell she had listened to my words as well as picked up on my energy. I could feel shifting and vibrating through my body as she worked on me, and felt deeply relaxed.



I didn't expect her to be so intuitive! She shared several valuable insights that she received during the session, and I am now feeling both relaxed and reassured. I would definitely recommend working with Marisa, especially if you are in need of some extra clarity!

  • You are welcome to bring blocks, blanket and pillow.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to register and get settled in.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and suitable for weather conditions.
